In the context of health and safety, there are certain groups of people who may be exempt from attending sporting events to mitigate risks and protect their well-being. Please select NO to confirm each of the following does now apply to you.
Individuals under the age of 18 years old: If you are under the age of 18, it is against the law to consume alcohol. ‘5K Beer Challenge’ is for adults over the age of 18 years only.
Individuals with specific medical conditions: People with certain medical conditions or compromised immune systems may be advised or required to avoid large gatherings, including sporting events. This could include individuals with respiratory conditions, chronic illnesses, or immunodeficiencies.
Pregnant women: Pregnant women may be advised to avoid crowded places, including sporting events, due to potential risks to their health and the health of their unborn child. This recommendation is often made to minimize exposure to infectious diseases or physical hazards.
Elderly individuals: Older adults, particularly those with underlying health conditions, may be more susceptible to severe illness or complications. As a precautionary measure, they may be advised to refrain from attending sporting events where there is a higher likelihood of close contact with others.
Individuals with disabilities: People with certain disabilities may have specific health considerations or vulnerabilities that make attending sporting events challenging or risky. Accessibility concerns, physical limitations, or sensory sensitivities could be factors in their exemption.
Individuals recovering from illness or surgery: Those who are recovering from recent illnesses or surgical procedures may need additional time to regain their strength and immunity. Attending crowded sporting events could pose a risk to their recovery or increase their susceptibility to infections.
Individuals with contagious illnesses: People with contagious illnesses, such as influenza or a viral infection, are generally advised to avoid public gatherings, including sporting events, to prevent the spread of the disease to others.
I have read and understand this waiver form, and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
