Bowdon Rugby club
Run two laps of a 2.5K circuit through wild fields, woodland and paths.
Drinks are included every kilometre*. You decide how much to drink.
Inflatable and non-inflatable obstacles are scattered throughout.
You will start at your chosen time.
There is free onsite parking and public transport 10 mins away.
*Beer, water, cider, Prosecco and wine will be provided during the run. Up to 5 drinks per runner permitted.

Common Questions
The closest train station and tram stop is Altrincham and Hale. They are both under 10 mins drive away. We have contacted local taxi firms to inform them about the event and the increase of demand.
The event will feature a 5K run and drinks are provided as part of the package. There will be a selection of various drinks and water at each drink station. We have a variety of obstacles throughout the run to add an extra element of fun and challenge for all participants.
Yes, parking facilities will be available on site for free.
There are toilet facilities available in the clubhouse and changing rooms. We highly recommend going before the race, however at roughly the 2.5K mark you’ll have a chance to dart in to the rugby club as it is the start of the circuit that you will do two laps of.
Bowdon Rugby Club will be providing food which consists a selection of hot and cold food.
Due to the consumption of alcohol, participants have to be over the age of 18. ID will be checked when registering to compare your DOB with your booking confirmation.Spectators of all ages are welcome.
Yes, the rugby club offers multiple changing rooms with toilets, changing and showers available.
There will be a bagging area to leave any baggage and clothing. However activity inside this area will not be supervised so your personal belongings are left at your own risk. We recommend any valuables are left in your car or with spectators.
We don’t expect this as the race is designed to minimise accidents. However, a first aid team are on standby in the unlikely event of any injuries. We have marshals through the event with high-vis coats and will communicate and manage any situation promptly. There is access to all areas of the course in the event of an emergency.
Yes, spectators are all more than welcome to watch at the start and finish of the event. If free of charge. The clubhouse will be open for food and beverages. We kindly ask all spectators to be respectful and stay in the designated area for heath and safety reasons.
There will be accessibility in our spectator area for wheelchairs. Participants have to complete a waiver explaining the dangers of the course. Please contact us in advance if you require any special assistance for taking part before booking.
If you have lost your confirmation e-mail, please contact the organsiers before the event to help speed up the registration process on the day.
We will aim to move your booking on to a better time. If that isn’t possible then we will look to transfer your booking to our next event(s).
Spectators are allowed dogs on a lead and guide dogs or service animals. It is recommended to contact the event organisers for further guidance.
